Our first entry...

Hello everyone! Michael and I are currently living in Pensacola, FL, patiently waiting to be medically separated from the Marine Corps due to his knee injury. We are set to leave August 15th, to begin a fantastic road trip together across the country, back home to Tacoma, WA. Our first stop is St. Louis, MO where we will be visiting with newlyweds Robbie and Jordan, Jamie, his girlfriend Arrika, and Courtney and Charlie! What a great way to start such a big trip!

We are very excited for this new chapter in our lives that is about to begin. So I thought, why not start a blog as well?! Our first year of marriage has been great, but also very trying at times from the stress that comes from being part of the military... especially the Marines! We have been away for a year (for him two years), and we both agree that Washington is and always will be home. So when it came time to decide what to do once we were out of the military, it didn't take us long! We were both ready to come back home. So... we will see you all soon! More posts to come as we get closer!
